BRISBANE, AU: Tuesday May 3, 2022.
Brisbane based investment firm, Fortress Capital, has recently announced a ‘significant’ investment in Clænsian, a revolutionary hangover remedy developed in Australia. Fortress Capital’s 50 percent stake in Clænsian is expected to assist the company to expand its presence overseas and establish the brand as a leading hangover relief product in the international market.
Speaking about the investment, Fortress Capital’s CEO, Mr Zaid Latif said his firm had undertaken exhaustive research and it was impressed by Clænsian’s potential.
"The international market for hangover relief products is worth billions of dollars and is growing at a steady rate. A report by Grand View Research found that the global hangover remedies market size was valued at US$4.07 billion in 2019 and that it is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 15.8% from 2020 to 2027. This growth can be attributed to the increasing demand for natural and organic hangover remedies,” Mr Latif said.
"At Fortress Capital, we are always searching for innovative products that can meet the needs of consumers and provide strong returns on our investment. The size and growth potential of the international hangover relief market make it an attractive opportunity for us. We believe that Clænsian, with its unique blend of natural ingredients, has the potential to capture a significant share of this market and establish itself as a leading brand in the hangover remedy sector. The fact that Clænsian is a wholly Australian innovation; and will continue to be manufactured and regulated in Australia gave us the confidence to make a significant investment in the company.
"We believe that Clænsian has a unique value proposition that will resonate with consumers, and we are confident that our investment, network, and international experience will help Clænsian open new markets and reach new heights of success,” Mr Latif said.
Clænsian’s public affairs spokesman, Mr Mark Wells, said the company is thrilled to have the support of Fortress Capital as Clænsian is launched in Australia and undertaking regulatory registration in two of its primary international markets.
"We want Clænsian users to wake up feeling better. The strategy is to make Clænsian the first choice hangover remedy for anyone who wants to enjoy a great night out without unduly suffering the consequences the next day. With the backing of Fortress Capital, we are confident we will establish Clænsian as the next Australian product to enjoy international success,” Mr Wells said.
“Developing Clænsian has involved a rigorous process including extensive research and ingredient testing. We worked closely with expert nutritionists, pharmacologists, and herbal medicine practitioners to develop a safe, effective, and natural formula. Clænsian is formulated to provide real relief from hangover symptoms, without the adverse side effects.
"Clænsian’s success is based on focusing of developing a remedy to address the root causes of a hangover, rather than just masking the symptoms. Clænsian’s formulation is designed to support the body with what it needs to recover from the effects of excessive alcohol use and dehydration. We believe that this approach sets Clænsian apart from other hangover relief products on the market. This is the foundation of its effectiveness.
“Over the next 18 months, with the financial backing of Fortress Capital, Clænsian plans to launch an aggressive marketing campaign targeting the 18-40 male and female demographics. The campaign will leverage social media and other digital channels to reach consumers and educate them about the benefits of Clænsian. The company also plans to partner with retailers and distributors in key markets to expand its reach and build a loyal customer base,” Mr Wells added.
